- Brian Yates, Missouri State Representative, District 56
"Out of all the candidates running for office across the State of Missouri for the Missouri House, Will Kraus definitely stands out as one of the best. He has honorably served the nation in Iraq in a leadership position. Missouri would certainly benefit from his service here at home. As a strong family man, I have met very few people that would match his ethical and moral values. Unlike the current state representative, Will Kraus will vote to bring back jobs and economic development to Missouri. He will stand-up for additional school funding for our area and will join our fight to bring back Missouri’s roads from near deterioration. The 48th District is currently lacking real representation in the Missouri House. Will Kraus will represent the people of the 48th honorably."

- Matt Bartle, Missouri State Senator, District 8
"I have known Will and Carmen Kraus for a number of years. They are wonderful people, who care deeply for our community. Will has just returned from Iraq, where he put his life on the line flying helicopters for the US Army. Will was away from Carmen and their two boys for over a year. I asked Will to consider running for State Representative because I know that he is a man of great character—the kind of guy I would want representing me in Jefferson City. Will Kraus is a leader. We need more of his type at the Capitol."

Kraus is the Only Option for 48th District -
Evaluating the work of incumbent State Rep. Mike Sager, the Journal could find little legwork the representative took in his tenure.
Kraus has new, progressive ideas to deal with transportation, including the dissolution of the Highway Commission and appointment of an overall director who is accountable directly to the Governor.
Kraus has served his country and wants to continue giving back to his state. He supports revising the school foundation formula, supports tort reform to help eliminate frivolous medical malpractice lawsuits and also wants to reduce the number of state representatives to save the state approximately $800,000.
